Yep, I weighed in today only to have a gain of 0.8. Well, it is to be expected, with the week I had last week it comes as no surprise. I'm ready to let that go, it's there and it's a new week.
Had a really nice day yesterday. We went to a friend's (Daniel) engagement party. Daniel works with OH and he has become like a kid brother to us, it was sooo nice to see him and his "fiance" happy! Does the heart good. I managed to be a very good girl (food wise) at the party, I even steered away from the vino OMG!!!!!!!! It was great to catch up with friends especially Linda, who is a firefighter herself, ex nurse, calls a spade a spade, calls it as she sees it and has a wicked sense of humour. We get on like a house on fire (ha ha). My Amigos, I could just picture all of us together, what a riot!!!!
I've got all the kids home today. They have another bout of the flu. It's that damn kindy, it's like a breeding ground for viruses..... the little guy brings it home and has to share it with his brothers, ah yes a very sharing, caring family we are!!!

Hunny! I am bloody proud of you! You have taken the 0.8 for what it is - the difference between a big poo and not - and moved on. You sound totally on top of the whole "Lifestyle" thing and do you know what? You inspire me! Yes indeed you do. It is incredibly hard to lose the last couple of kilos and you are being so inspiring when you suck it up and move on. I am learning from you Amigo. Glad to see you stayed away from the vino but let me ask you - HAVE YOU TRIED THE BB BOYS RED CALLED SOMETHING AND SYRAHH? ( or something like that) OMG! Bloody scrumptious!

Sorry to hear the boys aren't well, I hate having a cold...always end up feeling sorry for myself!!

Oh and the comment from Morgarna about the wine I know the one and it is GORGEOUS!!!! Dolcetto & Syrah my god you have to try it... Ummmm hate to admit it but I drunk 2 bottles once (same night) aaaargh :)
